With Microsoft's ubiquitous Web browser, Internet Explorer the IDC module offers a range of facilities for the collection and analysis of shop-floor activities with real-time feed back to Job Costing, Stock Control and Production Scheduling.

• Where appropriate JDF enabled resources are available shop floor data capture can be replaced by reading data directly from pre-press, press and post press controllers via JMF messages.
